Duplicate Passport in lieu of Lost/Damaged Passport

Important Notice:-

Signature should match as per the passport in each and every documents and forms. If the signs do not match, applications will be rejected.

 

SERVICE - Duplicate Passport in lieu of Lost/Damaged Passport

Fees : a) HK $ 1173/- for 36 pages

b) BLS service charges: HKD 47

OR

a) HK $ 1366/- for 60 pages

b) BLS service charges: HKD 47
Duration for grant of service: Minimum 20-30 working days for those applicants whose Passports have been issued from Hong Kong. If the lost Passport has been issued from other Passport issuing authority, then the service will be rendered on receipt of confirmation/clearance from that Passport issuing authority.

Requirements for passport in lieu of LOST/STOLEN passports

  • Applicants are required to fill online application form at https://embassy.passportindia.gov.in and carry a printout of the filled in application form
  • Personal presence of the applicant is required
  • Affidavit as per Annexure F stating the circumstances under which the passport was lost
  • Police Report for loss of passport from Hong Kong/Macau Police
  • Three recent passport-size photographs of 2 inch x 2 inch, full face & ears visible and white/light background
  • Self-attested photocopy of old passport, if available
  • Original and self-attested photocopy of Hong Kong/Macau ID
  • Fee of HKD 1173 for 36 pages passport and HKD 1366 for 60 pages passport

Requirements for passport in lieu of DAMAGED passports

  • Applicants are required to fill online application form at https://embassy.passportindia.gov.in and carry a printout of the filled in application form
  • Personal presence of the applicant is required
  • Affidavit as per Annexure F stating the circumstances under which the passport was damaged
  • Three recent passport-size photographs of 2 inch x 2 inch, full face & ears visible and white/light background
  • Original and self-attested photocopy (first two and last two pages) of Passport
  • Original and self-attested photocopy of Hong Kong/Macau ID/Valid visa
  • Fee of HKD 1173 for 36 pages passport and HKD 1366 for 60 pages passport


NOTE :

(i) Tourists will not be given the service of Renewal/reissue of Passport except in Extreme emergency.

(ii) All copies attached to the application must be self attested.

(iii) Applicants parents who are born before Partition (1947) in Karachi, Sind, Hyderabad, etc (places which are in Pakistan now), please write UNDIVIDED INDIA in the country category. Otherwise, forms will not be accepted.

(iv) If applicants/ parents of applicants/ spouse are not Permanent HKID holders, have to also submit the Current Visa page copy (SELF ATTESTED)
